   Children who are neglected and abused often don't know that they are being abused if their life has been that way for their whole life.  The article gives a summary of what abuse is, and how to deal with it. It also gives some facts about laws against child abuse, in Los Angles, and how in Los Angeles many children have died from abuse or Neglect, it gives many specific examples of abuse and neglect all over the world. Who is involved with it, and how people are trying to stop it from happening.

   This article gives facts about child abuse it also gives the reader some basic knowledge about child abuse and neglect. One fact is that 84% of all people in prison were neglected or abused as a child. This article also says things like the ratio of abuse and neglect in boys, and girls. 1 in every 3 girls is abused or neglected. 1 in every 5 boys is abused or neglected. It also says that families with over 4 people in them have much higher abuse rates then families with less people.  When it tells people what they can do to deal with abuse, it also gives the child a way to clarify for themselves if they are being abused. It lists the ways that parents are NOT allowed to touch their children.  It also tells the reader about all of the different types of abuse. Physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect. It also identifies all of the different ways you can tell a child is being abused by giving a list of ways a child is probably going to act if they have been badly abused, or neglected.
